Demonstrators Began to March to Office of Communication Ministry

After doing oration and yelling in front of Jakarta City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, the demonstrator began to march to office of Communication and Informatic Ministry.

"Thank you for conducting sympathetic action but do not harm others and damage vehicle," said Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansah, Tuesday (3/22).

According to him, the city administration continues to try making a good public transport service for the welfare of the driver as well. But he said, the cooperation between the government and public transport organization should jointly conduct synergy.

"We have a rule and must be enforced, but not necessarily be revised according to the times," he stated.

At this time, his side is already providing technical recommendation about the renewal of the existing route permit. However, it is hoped the Organization of Land Transportation Owners (Organda) can provide real data how many vehicles that exist today.
